The Double Mint Twins

 The Tic Tacs hatched.
Their beaks are long and pointing out the top of their nest continuously waiting for fluttering momma to bring them some snacks.

Within the first week, they had doubled in size and now going on the second week, they will be flying the nest any day.
Their feathers look like porcupine quills and both lil 'double mint twins' fill the inside of their 2" diameter nest pot.

Pretty damn cool.

You know we loves us some baby hummingbirds.
Last weekend Justin had the back doors open, in flew a hummingbird. She flew into the office and was banging around trying to get out of the huge window at the top of the room. Take an extended pole feather duster and a tall fireman, try to catch the hummingbird in mid flight with the duster. Funny stuff!

OMG.....Chelise's story made me LOL. I could totally envision it! I'm thinking John Candy and the Great Outdoors.
