I'm over the moon about my new sunflower colored
'evoo [extra virgin olive oil] and vinegar' dispensers.
I've been on an addictive hankering everyday this summer for a lunch salad made of arugula, shaved hard Parmesan, slices of golden beet
(when I remember to roast more than 3.
I tend to gorge them up right out of the oven and then am bummed that I don't have a supply for the next salad day),
fresh cracked pepper, sea salt and a glorious amount of balsamic vinegar and olive oil drizzled over the mound.
It's amazing the enjoyment a person can from get pouring stuff out of beautiful containers!
Somehow it makes everything taste that much more rich and
rocks my world!
A coffee bar rocks my world!
I love all of the different ways to brew a cup.
And each one makes a different experience.
My new favorite is the single serve Keurig.
It's clean, easy, and produces a coffee shop quality mug o' love!
And look at all the varieties I am conflicted with each day to choose from!!!!
This is why I must have a few cups daily.
It would be a travesty to limit myself to one a day!
There is too much taste bud joy to be had!!!!
And lastly,
my husband rocks my world!!!!
Yes, in all the dirty minded ways you are thinking, but also because under that big man exterior, is a creative HGTV crafter!!!!!
After returning from a kick-ass girl weekend in Grand Junction with the Gardner's [a post of the craziness to come], Rand surprised me with my outlet covers painted metallic silver, and hung to look like design perfection!
[I was going to buy stainless steel covers to match my new back splash, but it would have cost me $100!!!]
What things rock your world???
It is important that we acknowledge things that bring us pleasure.
Sometimes we get snuffed out by pressures, negative thoughts or attitudes around us, and even just taking the little things for granted.
Remember that life is to be lived full.....
even if it is as simple as a brew of coffee that fills your life-joy cup
:)
