For Mother's Day, I specifically asked for NO gifts.
I have already been given many experiences and expensive travels this year.
I am continually spoiled to the brim with love and support on more than just that one day.
And for me, I am thankful and ask for nothing more.
But I also know that Mother's Day is just as much for the children.
To give a personal gift to their mother is exciting and an honor to show their love.
So of course I was emotionally moved by Jax's enthusiasm, care and gift that he handed me in handmade wrapping.
His decoration on the left of the frame says,
Peace, Love, Joy and Mom.
When it comes down to it,
isn't fruition of that phrase
the true gift that all
mothers are really asking for????

Oh...tears. What a sweet and profound gift. I know you will proudly display this with all your pictures. Can't wait to see it.
You will always look at that and smile. You can just see him painting that, knowing how much you will love it.

Sometimes a gift like that makes it all a little more worth it. I still use a jewelry box [wooded]
that Randy made me in shop about
35 yrs ago. m-i-l
