Nobody likes a handbag face

I love love love Sephora.
How did I ever live without this store?
My new obsession is their Mattifying Moisterizer with sunscreen, for these blazing 'sweaty betty' summer months.
It goes on light, smooth and truly non-greasy to wear under my make-up to prevent shine and the oily boily look.
My make-up seems to last all day without weird build up or separation in the T-zones.

It's some of the best $22 I've ever spent!

Ladies!!!  Wear your moisturizer and sunscreen EVERY DAY!!!
A little anti-aging product now, will save you from looking like a leather handbag face later!

[I'm still counting on the fact that I will probably need the 'lifestyle lift' at some point.
"No kids, I don't have money to send you to college!!!
Momma needs her lift dammit!
Not only am I draggin' my ass, but my face is following behind it on the floor!"]

Stick em up!

Have you tried the stick on nail polishes???

I LOVE THEM!!!!
Of course if you wanted to spend the time, you could get creative and alternate a design on each nail or incorporate standard polish along with the stickers to give a fun mismatch.
I personally love them because I am too impatient to wait for my nails to dry, and I can have these stickers on in minutes!
They are so easy and last FOREVER!
In fact, the first batch I put on lasted so long I was afraid they had bonded with my nail for an eternal marriage.
Then I found out that they can easily be removed with polish remover. Or you can do like I did, and peel them off.  A little sticky residue was left behind but easily balled off once I washed my hands.

Totally worth the under 10 bucks you will pay!
[a $10 package will do your nails and toenails at least 3 times]

Magic wand

The 80's called........

and told me to bring back Rocker Chick hair!!!!!

I am really looooooving the oval hair wand that I bought.

Nothing like big hair to make me feel 15 again!!!!
Well, except for pegged Levi Strauss jeans, black eyeliner, truancy, air guitar, smoking in the boys room, and Guns N Roses!

ahhhhhh.....the good ol' days :)

No more wiglett!

I blame my bald spots,  breakage, and hair loss on my damn thyroid malfunction....
at least the internet says I can blame it on that,
 so I will!
I could also blame it on the 42 different hair colors that I've been this year.
My hair isn't used to this kind of chemical abuse.
I finally chose to go back to my natural color [whatever that is]
because looking like a calico cat has perched it's ass on my head
is totally NOT in style right now.
Trust me!
I've looked around, and NOT even the CAT LADY has a cat on her head.

I bought this Volumizing Hair Powder at Walmart for around 5 bucks.
[More well known brands have hair powder too....
but probably for more bucks]
I shake it in while my hair is damp and I can automatically feel it attach like a mild glue to the roots.
[shake a little bit at a time at the root by dividing the hair into 1 inch sections...just experiment with it. you really can't go wrong.]
[you can also apply it to dry hair....
it would work well if the hair is dirty and needs a little "oil soak up"..... kind of like a dry shampoo]
It does come out as white powder and since I am now back to a version of blonde, it looks natural.
I'm not sure how it would look with dark hair?!?!?
hmmmm...
I wonder why they don't make these powders in a variety of hair colors?
I'm calling my secretary to get the answers to these questions STAT!

It volumizes and thickens and fills in thin areas.
VAVOOM!!!
80's coming atcha!!!

I think it's a good product for a great price and worth hitting the local Wallyworld for some of your own Girl Powder.

[I will have to show you the new wand iron I bought.....

TOTAL 80's rocker chick big wavy hair!!!]

Take it from me and my testimonial,
"After I discovered Girl Powder, I can be free from head sweat,  rash, dust mites, wind gust paranoia, flame retardant, and  nylon frizzled hair embarrassment!
I no longer need to wear my wiglett* on a daily basis.
Thank you Girl Powder!!!
You gave me back my folical POWER!"
[fist pump!!]

*Wiglett is fictional, but could happen for reals at any given moment.
I'm just waiting.......

FUCK turning 40and up!!!
That's what I have to say about that!
ARGH!!!!
